Not in time for Christmas, but Red Dwarf Series 7 is due out on DVD January 10, 2006! (in the US)
While I remember following Red Dwarf on public television I’m fairly certain I had lost touch by the time these episodes would have made it to the states. Nevertheless I can hardly wait for the next installment. Season six ended on a cliffhanger and, while the final two seasons are oft considered inferior to the first six, I am still anxious to see what season seven will bring.

Series 8 (due in the US May 10, 2006) marks the final year of Red Dwarf and it will be sad to not have any more to look forward to, but with a series this good I’ll be watching and rewatching Red Dwarf for a long time to come.
