Dear Mr. Emmons

Having learned of your review of my "Management Secrets" I wanted to thank you for zeroing in on the importance of a tidy desk. You may recall me asking, "How much business has been snapped up by the Japanese while American business was looking for its stapler?" (The kind of pithy, no-nonsense analysis that is one of my greatest strengths). I believe that, next to a smooth-running meeting room reservation procedure and perhaps a voice mail message delivered in a steady authoritative tone, a tidy desk is the single most important factor in business success and it is truly a pleasure to discover that the word is getting out.

Keep up the good work.
