Now that I’m back in the world of the working iPod I’ve been going through podcasts almost as fast as gas money. Here are a couple of my favorites thus far.
Marc Gunn’s Irish & Celtic Music Podcast has some of the best Irish and Celtic music I’ve heard. Ranging from the very traditional right up to edgy punk-fusion all the music is high quality Irish and Celtic music. Marc manages to get two or three podcasts out a month and is always great about giving artist and album information. Get it at iTunes.
TransAtlantic Acoustic Show highlights a larger variety of modern acoustic music. Hosts jill no jack of the US and Sam Salter of the UK offer great info and background on the artists. Sam can be a little hard to understand (because of his voice, not his accent) but it’s nothing a little extra volume won’t fix. These come out almost every week. Get it at iTunes.
Both of these podcasts are free, and remember you don’t need an iPod to enjoy podcasts!
I’m going to start keeping a list of my favorite podcasts in my links in my sidebar, so as I find more good podcasts I’ll post them there.

If you’re into acoustic music then why not check out my new It’s A Frog’s Life Acoustic Podcast at itsafrogslife.net/podcast
I’ve not been doing it for long so would appreciate any comments and/or publicity you can offer.
