I've owned those little metal drivers, and the new drivers aren't much more than repainted versions of the old ones. My bit set is much nicer to use IMHO and has tips for everything you're likely to work on. I much prefer the 20-piece mini bit set that Radio Shack sells:Kronus 20-piece bit driver set.
