I'm most of the way through Nick Mason's book. Highly recommend it for fans of the Pink Floyd Sound. There's even a crowd picture of the LA Sports Arena concert I was at in the '70's(but I'm not in it).

While I can’t deny my resemblance to a hippie, I feel it important to point out that beatniks were the predecessors to hippies.

Of course we can’t talk about my looks for long without moving on to Jesus, but I still don’t see the relevance to the rest of this post.

Speaking of Pink Floyd, you kind of look like a hippie when you haven’t shaved in a while. Ponytail + excess facial hair = Hippie resemblance. Granted, when you’ve shaved you look like a beatnik or something more contemporary, but right now you look more like someone who hugs trees than monitors.
