Pink Floyd: Pulse on DVD
Categories: Entertainment, MusicFinally on DVD and ready for preorder on Amazon, the video of Pink Floyd’s final concert tour, “Pulse”. I wrote about this before, but at that time it was not available to pre-order at most sites. Due for release on December 6th, this is certainly a must-have for the Floyd fan on your Christmas list.
Here’s the rumored track list and extras. This was a fantastic concert and my VHS is long overdue for replacement. The DVD extras and Dolby Digital soundtrack are just icing on the cake.

October 25th, 2005 at 3:05 pmSpeaking of Pink Floyd, you kind of look like a hippie when you haven’t shaved in a while. Ponytail + excess facial hair = Hippie resemblance. Granted, when you’ve shaved you look like a beatnik or something more contemporary, but right now you look more like someone who hugs trees than monitors.

October 25th, 2005 at 3:52 pmWhile I can’t deny my resemblance to a hippie, I feel it important to point out that beatniks were the predecessors to hippies.
Of course we can’t talk about my looks for long without moving on to Jesus, but I still don’t see the relevance to the rest of this post.

November 8th, 2005 at 9:04 pmI’m most of the way through Nick Mason’s book. Highly recommend it for fans of the Pink Floyd Sound. There’s even a crowd picture of the LA Sports Arena concert I was at in the ’70′s(but I’m not in it).
